WHAT IS PERSONAL TRAINING (PT)?
Personal training is a one-on-one fitness session, tailored to your physical ability. Your trainer will guide you through a curated set of exercises – which could be as diverse as reformer Pilates, boxing, cardio and strength training – selected to help you achieve your individual fitness goals. At NicFit, we offer options of 30/45/60 min PT sessions. You can also create a small PT class with two or three friends.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN TO
PT / CLASSES?
At NicFit, we’re proud to offer a weekly pre/post natal fitness class, especially developed for new mums and mums-to-be. New mums are welcome to bring their babies to this class – it’s a great way to work towards your fitness goals while meeting other mums. However, once your little one is more mobile we respectfully request that you no longer bring them into the gym – this is not only for the safety and comfort of yourself, your child and other clients but also ensures you can focus on reaching your own fitness goals.
I’VE NEVER BEEN TO A GYM CLASS OR PT BEFORE - DOES THAT MATTER?
NicFit is a welcoming environment for anyone, regardless of your previous experience! We have a range of classes to choose from to suit your needs – such as a male bootcamp, over 60s’, and pre/postnatal classes. In addition to these tailored classes, there are a range of options which everyone is welcome to join, such as cardio sculpt pilates, conditioning etc.
I’M RECOVERING FROM AN INJURY,
CAN NicFit DEVELOP A REHAB
PROGRAM FOR ME?
The trainers at NicFit Training work closely with physiotherapists. They will often refer clients to a physio for a diagnosis and rehabilitation program which all NicFit trainers can guide you through and modify when required.
​WHAT SHOULD I WEAR / BRING TO MY FIRST SESSION AT NicFit?
Wear comfortable clothes suitable for exercise, such as leggings/shorts and a t-shirt or singlet – you’ll work up a sweat so if it’s cold, wear layers so you can be comfortable as you progress through the class. Supportive sports shoes are essential (although not necessary for Yoga classes as most people just wear socks for these sessions). Don’t forget your water bottle and towel.
I ALREADY EXERCISE EXTENSIVELY ON MY OWN, HOW CAN NicFit COMPLEMENT MY OWN PERSONAL OR SPORTS TRAINING PROGRAM?
All trainers at NicFit have extensive experience in tailoring programs for specific sports and all fitness levels. The studio also has a large range of equipment to compliment your own training program.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY SESSION?
Group classes are paid online through our booking app. Personal Training sessions can be paid in the NicFit studio by card. NicFit still accept cash on arrival for group fitness and personal training sessions.
